Thesis Abstract

Abstract
Information technology has become an integral part of modern libraries, transforming the way information is accessed, stored, and disseminated. This study aims to explore strategies to maximize the value of information technology in the library environment. The research focuses on understanding the current IT infrastructure in libraries, identifying challenges faced in leveraging IT effectively, and proposing solutions to enhance the utilization of technology. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research examines the various IT tools and systems commonly used in libraries, such as integrated library systems, digital repositories, and online databases. It also investigates the impact of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics on library services and operations. By analyzing the benefits and limitations of these technologies, this study aims to provide insights into how libraries can harness the full potential of IT resources.
