AbstractThis research project aims to investigate the impact of social media on mental health among teenagers. With the increasing use of social media platforms among adolescents, concerns have been raised about the potential negative effects on their mental well-being. The study will involve a comprehensive literature review to explore existing research on the relationship between social media usage and mental health outcomes in teenagers. Additionally, primary data will be collected through surveys and interviews with teenagers to gather insights into their social media habits and how it influences their mental health. The research will also examine the role of factors such as cyberbullying, social comparison, and fear of missing out in exacerbating mental health issues among teenagers.
