This thesis examines the impact of nonverbal communication in intercultural interactions, focusing on how nonverbal cues influence communication effectiveness and outcomes in diverse cultural settings. The study explores the significance of nonverbal communication in cross-cultural contexts, aiming to enhance our understanding of its role in intercultural communication and its implications for successful interactions. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research delves into various theories and models related to nonverbal communication and cultural differences, providing a theoretical foundation for the empirical investigation. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques to gather insights from participants representing different cultural backgrounds. By analyzing nonverbal behaviors such as facial expressions, gestures, body language, and proxemics, this study seeks to identify patterns and differences in how individuals from diverse cultures interpret and respond to nonverbal cues. The findings from this analysis are discussed in detail in Chapter Four, highlighting the key themes and implications for intercultural communication.
