This thesis investigates the impact of multimodal communication on cross-cultural understanding, aiming to provide insights into how various modes of communication influence intercultural interactions. In a globalized world where communication plays a crucial role in bridging cultural divides, understanding the dynamics of multimodal communication is essential for effective cross-cultural communication. The study explores the ways in which verbal and non-verbal communication channels interact to shape cross-cultural interactions and perceptions. Through a comprehensive literature review, the research delves into existing theories and empirical studies on multimodal communication and cross-cultural communication to establish a theoretical framework for the analysis. The methodology chapter presents a detailed account of the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed in the study.
