The agricultural sector plays a crucial role in the global economy, with co-operatives serving as a key organizational structure for farmers to collectively engage in production, marketing, and distribution activities. In recent years, technological advancements have revolutionized various industries, including agriculture, offering new opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity. This thesis aims to assess the impact of technology on co-operative performance in the agricultural sector. The study begins with an introduction that outlines the background of the research, identifies the problem statement, states the objectives, discusses the limitations and scope of the study, highlights the significance of the research, and presents the structure of the thesis. The literature review in Chapter Two covers ten key areas related to technology adoption, co-operative economics, and agricultural performance, providing a comprehensive overview of existing theories and empirical studies in this field. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The chapter also discusses the selection criteria for the study sample, the data collection instruments used, and the statistical techniques applied to analyze the data.
