Co-operative enterprises play a vital role in promoting economic development in rural communities by fostering collaboration and sustainable business practices. This thesis examines the impact of co-operative enterprises on economic development in rural communities, focusing on their contributions to local economies, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study explores the theoretical foundations of co-operative economics and management, highlighting the unique characteristics and benefits of co-operative enterprises. The research methodology includes a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, surveys, and case studies to gather data from co-operative members, stakeholders, and experts in the field.
