This thesis explores the impact of co-operative social enterprises on sustainable development goals. Co-operatives have long been recognized for their potential to contribute to economic, social, and environmental sustainability. However, there is a gap in the literature regarding the specific impact of co-operative social enterprises on achieving sustainable development goals. This study aims to fill this gap by conducting a comprehensive assessment of the role that co-operatives play in advancing sustainable development. The research begins with an examination of the theoretical foundations of co-operative economics and management, providing a background for understanding the potential impact of co-operatives on sustainable development goals. The study then identifies the problem statement, highlighting the need to better understand how co-operative social enterprises can contribute to achieving sustainability objectives. The objectives of the study are to assess the various ways in which co-operative social enterprises impact sustainable development goals, to identify any limitations that may hinder their effectiveness, and to determine the scope of their influence on sustainability outcomes.
