Abstract
The demand for efficient gas separation processes has led to an increasing interest in the development of advanced materials such as Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). This thesis focuses on the synthesis and characterization of novel MOFs tailored for gas separation applications. The study involves the design and synthesis of MOFs with specific structural properties optimized for gas separation processes, particularly for the separation of CO2 from gas mixtures. Characterization techniques including X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and gas adsorption measurements are employed to analyze the structural and adsorption properties of the synthesized MOFs.
