Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a critical role in driving economic growth and development worldwide. However, their sustainability is increasingly being challenged by environmental, social, and economic pressures. This thesis explores the implementation of sustainable business practices in SMEs, focusing on strategies to enhance their long-term viability and competitiveness. The study begins by examining the background and significance of sustainable business practices in the context of SMEs, highlighting the growing importance of corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review that identifies key factors influencing the adoption of sustainable practices in SMEs, such as regulatory frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and resource constraints. The findings reveal that while SMEs face unique challenges in implementing sustainability initiatives, they also stand to benefit from improved brand reputation, cost savings, and enhanced customer loyalty. Thesis Overview

The project titled "Implementing Sustainable Business Practices in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)" aims to explore the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating sustainable business practices in small and medium enterprises.
