In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on sustainability within supply chain management practices to address environmental, social, and economic concerns. This thesis explores the implementation of sustainable supply chain management practices in the retail industry, focusing on the challenges, strategies, and outcomes associated with this transition. The introduction provides background information on the importance of sustainability in supply chain management, highlighting the increasing pressure from stakeholders for retailers to adopt sustainable practices. The problem statement identifies the gaps in current supply chain management practices within the retail industry and the need for a more sustainable approach.
