Abstract
Climate change poses a significant threat to global biodiversity, particularly in sensitive ecosystems such as tropical rainforests. This study investigates the effects of climate change on plant diversity in a tropical rainforest ecosystem, focusing on understanding the impacts of changing environmental conditions on plant species composition and distribution. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research synthesizes existing knowledge on the subject and identifies key gaps that warrant further investigation. The methodology employed in this study includes field surveys, data collection, and statistical analysis to assess changes in plant diversity over time in response to climate change. Results from the study reveal shifts in species composition, distribution patterns, and phenology of plant communities, highlighting the vulnerability of tropical rainforest ecosystems to ongoing climate change.
