Abstract
Climate change is a pressing global issue that has profound impacts on the distribution and abundance of plant species. This study focused on analyzing the effects of climate change on plant species distribution in a specific region. Through a comprehensive literature review and field research, this thesis aimed to investigate how changing climatic conditions influence the spatial distribution of plant species and the implications for biodiversity conservation. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to climate change, plant species distribution, and biodiversity conservation. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including the selection of study sites, data collection methods, and analytical techniques. The chapter also discusses the challenges and limitations encountered during the research process. Chapter four presents the findings of the study, highlighting the observed changes in plant species distribution patterns in response to climate change. The results indicate a significant impact of climate change on the distribution of plant species, with shifts in species composition and abundance. Factors such as temperature, precipitation, and soil moisture were identified as key drivers influencing these changes.
