Thesis Abstract

<p> This project aims to study the effects of different plant root exudates on soil nutrient availability. Root exudates are organic compounds released by plant roots into the soil, which play a crucial role in nutrient acquisition and plant-microbe interactions. This project will involve growing different plant species in controlled environments and collecting their root exudates. The collected exudates will be analyzed for their chemical composition, and their effects on soil nutrient availability will be assessed through laboratory experiments. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms by which plants influence soil nutrient dynamics and may have implications for sustainable agriculture and soil fertility management <br></p>
