This project aims to analyze the effects of different plant hormones on plant root development. Plant hormones, such as auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, abscisic acid, and ethylene, play crucial roles in regulating various aspects of plant growth and development, including root development. However, the specific effects of these hormones on root growth, root branching, root hair development, and root system architecture are not fully understood. In this study, we will investigate the effects of exogenous application of different hormones on root development in various plant species. By elucidating the effects of hormones on root development, we can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying root growth and potentially identify strategies for improving plant nutrient uptake and stress tolerance
