Thesis Abstract

This project aims to analyze the effects of different plant hormones on plant root development. Plant hormones, also known as phytohormones, play crucial roles in regulating various aspects of plant growth and development, including root development. Understanding the effects of different hormones on root development is essential for unraveling the complex signaling networks that control root growth and architecture. The project will involve treating plants with different hormones, measuring various root parameters such as root length, branching, and root hair density, and analyzing the data to determine the effects of each hormone on root development. The findings of this study will contribute to our understanding of hormone-mediated root development and may have practical implications for crop improvement and plant breeding.
