Thesis Abstract

This project aims to study the impact of allelopathy on plant community dynamics. Allelopathy refers to the chemical interactions between plants, where certain plants release chemicals that can inhibit the growth or development of neighboring plants. This study will investigate the allelopathic effects of selected plant species on the germination, growth, and survival of other plant species in a controlled environment. By analyzing the allelopathic potential of different plant species, this project seeks to understand the role of allelopathy in shaping plant community composition and dynamics. The findings of this study will contribute to our understanding of plant-plant interactions and their ecological implications.
