Thesis Abstract

This project aims to investigate the impact of climate change on plant phenology. Phenology refers to the timing of recurring biological events in plants, such as flowering, leaf emergence, and fruit ripening. Climate change, with its associated shifts in temperature and precipitation patterns, can significantly influence plant phenological events. The project will involve analyzing long-term phenological data from different plant species and studying their relationships with climate variables. The findings will contribute to our understanding of the ecological consequences of climate change and may have implications for predicting and managing shifts in plant phenology
