Thesis Abstract

This project aims to explore the use of symbolism in contemporary fashion design and its impact on the interpretation and communication of fashion concepts. The project will involve studying the historical and cultural significance of symbols in fashion, as well as their evolution in contemporary design practices. Through a series of case studies and analysis of fashion collections, the project seeks to understand how designers incorporate symbols into their work to convey deeper meanings, challenge societal norms, and create unique fashion narratives.
