Thesis Abstract

<p> This research project aims to explore the influence of art education on students' ability to appreciate art as a reflection of society. Art has the power to convey social, cultural, and political messages, and understanding these messages is crucial for developing a critical perspective on society. However, little is known about how art education can enhance students' appreciation of art as a reflection of society. This study will employ qualitative research methods, including interviews and analysis of student artworks, to examine the impact of art education on students' understanding and interpretation of art as a reflection of societal issues. The findings will contribute to the field of art education and provide insights into the role of art in fostering social awareness and engagement <br></p>
