Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the impact of art education on students' ability to analyze and interpret art theory. Art theory plays a crucial role in understanding the historical, cultural, and conceptual aspects of artworks. However, little research has been conducted on how art education influences students' comprehension and application of art theory. This study will employ a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and classroom observations, to examine the effects of art education on students' understanding and engagement with art theory. The findings will contribute to the existing literature on art education and provide insights into effective pedagogical strategies for teaching art theory
