Thesis Abstract

<p> This research project aims to investigate the role of art education in promoting sustainable practices. With the increasing global concern for environmental sustainability, it is essential to explore how art education can contribute to raising awareness and fostering sustainable behaviors among students. This study will examine the integration of sustainability concepts and practices into art education curriculum and pedagogy. The research will involve a combination of qualitative methods, including interviews with art educators, analysis of curriculum documents, and classroom observations. The findings will provide insights into the potential of art education to promote sustainable practices and offer recommendations for educators to incorporate sustainability themes into their art lessons. <br></p>
