Thesis Abstract

This project investigates the role of art education in developing critical thinking skills among students. It explores how art education can foster higher-order thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. The project examines the theoretical foundations of critical thinking in relation to art education and explores various instructional strategies and assessment methods that can be employed to promote critical thinking in art classrooms. Additionally, it investigates the impact of art education on students' cognitive development and academic achievement. The findings of this project will contribute to the understanding of the significance of art education in cultivating critical thinking skills.
