This thesis project focuses on the design of a Sustainable and Resilient Community Center, aiming to create a multi-functional space that not only serves as a hub for community activities but also embodies sustainable and resilient principles in its design and operation. The project is motivated by the increasing need for community spaces that can adapt to changing environmental conditions and promote sustainable practices. Chapter One provides an introduction to the project, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and the structure of the thesis. The chapter also defines key terms relevant to the study. Chapter Two consists of a comprehensive literature review that explores existing research and projects related to sustainable and resilient community centers. The review covers topics such as sustainable architecture, resilient design principles, community engagement, and the role of architecture in promoting sustainability. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this project, detailing the research design, data collection methods, data analysis techniques, and ethical considerations.
