This thesis explores sustainable design strategies for urban affordable housing development, focusing on the integration of green technologies, efficient space planning, and community engagement. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, case studies, and surveys to analyze the effectiveness of various sustainable design strategies in affordable housing projects. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms.
