Thesis Abstract

This project explores the future of healthcare delivery through the integration of telemedicine and digital health technologies. With advancements in communication and information technology, telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to improve access to healthcare services, especially in remote areas. The project aims to analyze the benefits, challenges, and potential applications of telemedicine, including virtual consultations, remote patient monitoring, and telehealth platforms. Additionally, it will investigate the role of digital health technologies such as wearable devices, health apps, and electronic health records in transforming healthcare delivery. The findings will provide insights for architects and healthcare professionals to design healthcare facilities that can accommodate and support telemedicine and digital health practices.
