Archaeological sites hold significant potential in influencing tourism development by attracting visitors interested in cultural heritage. This thesis investigates the impact of archaeological sites on tourism development through a case study approach. The research focuses on understanding how the preservation and promotion of archaeological sites can contribute to sustainable tourism growth. By examining the relationship between archaeological sites and tourism, this study aims to provide insights into effective strategies for leveraging cultural heritage to enhance tourism experiences. The introduction sets the context by highlighting the relevance of archaeological sites in tourism development. The background of the study discusses the historical significance of archaeological sites and their role in attracting tourists. The problem statement identifies the gap in understanding the specific impact of archaeological sites on tourism and emphasizes the need for further research in this area. The objectives of the study aim to explore the relationship between archaeological sites and tourism, analyze visitor perceptions, and identify challenges and opportunities for sustainable tourism development.
