Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to examine the influence of archaeological tourism on the conservation of ancient military structures. It will investigate how the presence of tourists affects the preservation and management of archaeological sites related to ancient warfare. The study will analyze the impact of visitor activities, such as foot traffic and photography, on the structural integrity of military sites. It will also explore the role of tourism revenue in funding conservation efforts. The findings of this research will contribute to the development of strategies for balancing tourism and conservation needs in ancient military structures.
