Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the role of archaeology in promoting tourism in ancient trade and commerce. It will investigate how archaeological sites related to trade and commerce can be effectively utilized to attract tourists and enhance their understanding of ancient economic systems. The study will analyze the impact of archaeological tourism on the interpretation of trade routes, marketplaces, and commercial activities of ancient civilizations. It will also examine the conservation challenges associated with preserving archaeological sites related to trade and commerce. The findings of this research will contribute to the development of strategies for promoting tourism in ancient trade and commerce sites.
