Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the influence of archaeological tourism on the preservation of historical gardens and landscapes. Historical gardens and landscapes are important cultural heritage assets that provide insights into past societies and their relationship with nature. These sites often attract tourists interested in history, horticulture, and landscape design. This study will investigate the impact of tourism on the preservation and management of historical gardens, examining the challenges faced and the strategies employed to ensure their long-term sustainability. The findings will contribute to the development of best practices for the conservation of historical gardens and the enhancement of visitor experiences.
