Thesis Abstract

<p> This project aims to design a sustainable water management system for urban areas, considering the challenges of water scarcity, population growth, and climate change. Urbanization has put significant pressure on water resources, leading to issues such as water pollution, inefficient usage, and inadequate infrastructure. The objective of this research is to develop a comprehensive water management system that integrates water supply, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and water conservation strategies. The study will involve analyzing the existing water infrastructure, assessing the water demand and availability, and proposing innovative solutions such as rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and smart water metering. The outcome of this project will contribute to ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply for urban communities while minimizing environmental impact. <br></p>
