Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the global demand for animal protein. In this study, the effects of different feed formulations on the growth performance of broiler chickens were investigated. The aim was to evaluate how varying feed compositions impact key growth parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and overall health of broiler chickens. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic and outlines the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to broiler chicken nutrition, feed formulations, growth performance, and relevant research studies. Chapter three details the research methodology, including the experimental design, sample selection, data collection methods, feed formulation variations, and statistical analysis techniques. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations and potential limitations of the methodology. In chapter four, the findings of the study are extensively discussed, focusing on the impact of different feed formulations on the growth performance of broiler chickens. Results related to body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and other growth parameters are analyzed and compared across the various feed formulations tested.
