Thesis Abstract

<p> The aim of this project is to investigate the detrimental effects of pollution on lung health. Air pollution has become a major concern in urban areas, with various pollutants present in the atmosphere. This study will explore the specific pollutants that have the most significant impact on lung health, as well as the mechanisms through which they exert their harmful effects. Additionally, the project will examine the long-term consequences of exposure to pollution on respiratory function, including the development of respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lung cancer. By understanding the relationship between pollution and lung health, this research aims to contribute to the development of effective strategies for mitigating the adverse effects of pollution on respiratory well-being. <br></p>
