This research project aims to explore and evaluate sustainable agroforestry models that can be implemented by small-scale farmers. Agroforestry is an integrated land use system that combines trees with crops and/or livestock, providing multiple benefits such as increased agricultural productivity, improved soil health, biodiversity conservation, and climate change mitigation. However, the adoption of agroforestry practices among small-scale farmers is often limited due to various challenges. This study will assess different agroforestry models suitable for small-scale farmers, analyze their benefits and challenges, and provide recommendations for promoting sustainable agroforestry practices at the small-scale farming level.
