<p> </p><div>Post-harvest management plays a crucial role in ensuring food security and reducing post-harvest losses in the agricultural sector. This project aims to investigate the impact of agricultural education on farmers' knowledge of post-harvest management practices. By understanding the effectiveness of agricultural education programs in improving farmers' knowledge in this area, the project seeks to contribute to the development of strategies that enhance post-harvest management practices and reduce food waste.</div><div>The project will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative research methods. Initially, a comprehensive literature review will be conducted to gather existing knowledge on post-harvest management practices, including studies on the challenges faced by farmers and the role of agricultural education in addressing these challenges.</div><div>Quantitative data will be collected through surveys administered to farmers who have undergone agricultural education programs and those who have not. The surveys will assess farmers' knowledge of post-harvest management practices, including harvesting techniques, storage methods, packaging, transportation, and quality control. The data will be analyzed to compare the knowledge levels between the two groups and determine the impact of agricultural education on farmers' knowledge.</div><div>Qualitative research methods, such as interviews and focus group discussions, will be conducted with a sample of farmers who have undergone agricultural education programs. These qualitative data will provide insights into the specific aspects of post-harvest management that farmers find most valuable in the education programs and the challenges they still face in implementing these practices.</div><div>The collected data will be analyzed using appropriate statistical techniques and thematic analysis. The findings will be used to identify gaps in knowledge and practice, as well as to develop recommendations for improving agricultural education programs to enhance farmers' knowledge of post-harvest management.</div><div>The expected outcomes of this project include a better understanding of the impact of agricultural education on farmers' knowledge of post-harvest management practices, insights into the challenges faced by farmers in implementing these practices, and recommendations for enhancing agricultural education programs. The findings will contribute to the development of evidence-based strategies to improve post-harvest management practices, reduce food waste, and enhance food security</div> <br><p></p>
