The integration of mobile technology in agricultural extension services has the potential to revolutionize the way information is disseminated and accessed in rural communities. This research study aims to assess the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural communities, focusing on how it enhances information dissemination, knowledge sharing, and decision-making processes among farmers and extension workers. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from farmers, extension workers, and other stakeholders involved in agricultural extension services. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of existing literature on the use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services, highlighting key trends, challenges, and opportunities. The literature review will provide a theoretical framework for understanding the potential impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services and help identify gaps in current research that this study aims to address. The research methodology will involve conducting surveys with a sample of farmers and extension workers to assess their current usage of mobile technology, their perceptions of its effectiveness in accessing agricultural information, and the challenges they face in utilizing mobile technology for agricultural extension services.
