This thesis explores the potential of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in enhancing agricultural extension services in rural communities. The utilization of ICTs has gained significant attention in the agricultural sector as a means to bridge information gaps, improve access to knowledge and resources, and enhance communication channels between farmers and extension services. This study aims to investigate the impact of ICTs on agricultural extension services and assess their effectiveness in improving agricultural practices and increasing productivity in rural areas. The research begins by providing an overview of the background of the study, highlighting the current challenges faced by rural communities in accessing timely and relevant agricultural information. The problem statement identifies the lack of effective communication channels and limited access to extension services as key barriers to agricultural development in rural areas.
