This thesis examines the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural communities, focusing on its effectiveness in improving communication, knowledge sharing, and decision-making processes among farmers. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders involved in agricultural extension services. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that explores existing studies on the use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services, discussing its benefits, challenges, and best practices. The literature review also identifies gaps in the current research that this study aims to address.
