Abstract
The integration of digital technologies in agricultural extension services has the potential to revolutionize the way information is disseminated and accessed by rural communities. This study aims to assess the impact of digital technologies on agricultural extension services in rural communities, with a focus on understanding how these technologies can improve efficiency, effectiveness, and outreach. The research methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from both extension workers and farmers in selected rural communities. The literature review revealed that digital technologies, such as mobile applications, SMS services, and online platforms, have been increasingly utilized in agricultural extension services globally. These technologies have shown promise in enhancing knowledge sharing, decision-making, and access to agricultural information among farmers.
