Agricultural extension services play a crucial role in disseminating knowledge and information to farmers to enhance productivity and sustainability. In recent years, social media platforms have emerged as powerful tools for communication and knowledge sharing. This thesis explores the potential of utilizing social media for effective knowledge transfer in agricultural extension services. The study aims to investigate the impact of social media on knowledge dissemination, adoption of agricultural best practices, and overall extension service effectiveness. Chapter 1 provides a comprehensive introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis.
