This thesis explores the utilization of mobile technology to enhance agricultural extension services in rural communities, addressing the challenges faced by farmers and extension workers. The study delves into the current literature on mobile technology applications in agriculture and extension services, providing insights into the benefits and limitations of such interventions. Chapter one introduces the research, providing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive review of relevant literature, discussing ten key areas related to mobile technology in agricultural extension services. Chapter three outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations.
