Climate change poses significant challenges to agricultural production worldwide, impacting food security, livelihoods, and economies. This thesis focuses on assessing the economic impacts of climate change on agricultural production in a specific region through a case study approach. By examining the effects of changing climate patterns on crop yields, farm incomes, and overall agricultural sustainability, this study aims to provide valuable insights into the adaptation strategies needed to mitigate these impacts. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction that outlines the background of the study, highlights the problem statement, presents the objectives, identifies the limitations, defines the scope, discusses the significance of the study, and outlines the structure of the thesis. Through a thorough literature review in Chapter Two, this study examines existing research on climate change impacts on agriculture, adaptation strategies, and relevant economic theories to provide a theoretical framework for the analysis. Chapter Three details the research methodology employed in this study, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and analytical tools used to assess the economic impacts of climate change on agricultural production in the specific region.
