Abstract
Climate change is a pressing global issue that has significant implications for agriculture and food security. This study aims to analyze the impact of climate change on crop yields and farmer income in a selected region. The study focuses on understanding how changes in temperature and precipitation patterns are affecting crop production and farmer livelihoods. By examining the relationship between climate change and agricultural outcomes, this research seeks to provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by farmers in adapting to a changing climate. The study begins with an introduction that outlines the background of the research, presents the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. A comprehensive literature review is conducted in Chapter Two, exploring existing research on the effects of climate change on crop yields and farmer income. The literature review covers topics such as climate change impacts, adaptation strategies, and policy interventions. Chapter Three details the research methodology employed in this study, including data collection methods, sampling techniques, and analytical tools. The methodology section describes how the research data was collected, analyzed, and interpreted to draw meaningful conclusions about the impact of climate change on crop yields and farmer income. In Chapter Four, the findings of the study are presented and discussed in detail. The analysis explores the relationship between climate change variables and agricultural outcomes, highlighting the specific challenges faced by farmers in the selected region.
