This thesis is focused on the critical issue of enhancing digital literacy skills for adult learners in the workplace. The rapid advancement of technology has transformed the nature of work, requiring individuals to possess proficient digital skills to remain competitive in the job market. However, many adult learners face challenges in acquiring and maintaining these essential skills, leading to concerns about their employability and career progression. This study aims to investigate strategies and interventions that can effectively enhance digital literacy skills among adult learners in the workplace. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. The chapter sets the foundation for the subsequent chapters by outlining the importance of digital literacy skills in the context of adult education and workforce development. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that explores existing research and theories related to digital literacy, adult learning, and workplace training. This chapter examines the current state of digital literacy skills among adult learners, identifies key challenges and barriers, and reviews best practices and interventions for improving digital skills in the workplace.
