Thesis Abstract

<p>This project aims to develop an effective curriculum and teaching materials to provide job skills training to unemployed adults in [location]. With unemployment rates rising due to [reasons], there is a growing need for programs that can help unemployed individuals gain the skills and qualifications needed to re-enter the workforce. This project will research best practices in adult education and job skills training. Based on the research findings, an original curriculum and teaching materials will be designed to teach skills like resume writing, interviewing, computer skills, communication/soft skills, and career exploration/planning. The curriculum will be piloted with a group of unemployed adults and evaluated based on pre- and post-training assessments to measure skill and knowledge gains. The results will help improve the curriculum for broader implementation. <br><br><br></p>
