Nutrition plays a crucial role in managing osteoarthritis by influencing inflammation, joint health, and overall well-being. This research project aims to investigate the impact of nutrition on canine osteoarthritis management. The study will focus on analyzing the relationship between specific dietary components, such as antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, and joint supplements, and their effects on osteoarthritis progression and symptom management in dogs. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and key definitions. The background highlights the prevalence and impact of canine osteoarthritis, emphasizing the need for effective management strategies. The problem statement addresses the gaps in current knowledge regarding the role of nutrition in osteoarthritis management in dogs. Chapter Two presents an extensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to nutrition and osteoarthritis management in canines.
