Telemedicine, the remote delivery of healthcare services using technology, has rapidly gained traction in human medicine, and its potential applications in veterinary practice have garnered increasing interest. This research aims to explore the use of telemedicine in veterinary practice, focusing on its benefits, challenges, and ethical considerations. The study begins with an introduction to the concept of telemedicine in veterinary care, providing a background of the evolution of telehealth technologies in the field. The problem statement highlights the gaps in current veterinary care practices that telemedicine could address, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive examination of its implications. The objectives of the study are to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of implementing telemedicine in veterinary practice and to analyze the ethical dilemmas that may arise. The literature review delves into existing research on telemedicine in veterinary medicine, examining studies that have explored its effectiveness, impact on animal health outcomes, and client satisfaction. The review also discusses the regulatory frameworks governing telemedicine in veterinary care and compares these with human healthcare standards.
