This research project focuses on investigating the effects of probiotics on gastrointestinal health in dogs. In recent years, there has been increasing interest in the use of probiotics to promote gastrointestinal health in dogs, as they are known to play a crucial role in maintaining a balanced gut microbiota and supporting overall well-being. The study aims to explore the impact of probiotics on the gastrointestinal health of dogs through a comprehensive analysis of relevant literature, as well as through practical experiments and observations. The research will delve into the mechanisms by which probiotics exert their beneficial effects on the gut microbiota of dogs, including modulation of immune responses, enhancement of nutrient absorption, and inhibition of pathogenic bacteria. Chapter One of the research will provide an introduction to the topic, background information on probiotics and gastrointestinal health in dogs, the problem statement, research objectives, limitations of the study, scope of the research, significance of the study, structure of the research, and definitions of key terms.
