Project Abstract

Canine leishmaniasis is a significant public health concern in many parts of the world, particularly in endemic regions where the disease poses a substantial threat to both animal and human populations. This project aims to investigate the seroprevalence of canine leishmaniasis and identify the risk factors associated with its occurrence in these endemic areas. Leishmaniasis is a vector-borne disease caused by parasites of the Leishmania genus, which are transmitted by sand flies.
