This research project focuses on optimizing the supplier selection process to enhance performance in a manufacturing company. The study aims to investigate the current supplier selection practices, identify challenges, and propose strategies for improvement. The research methodology involves a comprehensive review of existing literature on supplier selection processes, performance measurement, and optimization techniques. Primary data will be collected through interviews and surveys with key stakeholders involved in the supplier selection process within the target manufacturing company. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to supplier selection processes and performance optimization.
