This research project focuses on the impact of material handling cost reduction efforts in a public institution, specifically the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) in Kaduna. The study aims to analyze the current material handling practices at PHCN Kaduna and assess the effectiveness of cost reduction strategies implemented by the institution. The research methodology involves a case study approach, utilizing a combination of primary and secondary data sources. Primary data will be collected through interviews with key personnel involved in material handling at PHCN Kaduna, including managers, supervisors, and frontline staff.
